Sciton’s Contour TRL™️ Micro/Nano Laser Peel
Sciton’s Contour Tunable Resurfacing Laser (TRL)™️ laser peel can help with visible signs of skin damage caused by the sun, environmental toxins and the natural aging process. At Harrington + Associates Plastic Surgery we offer both the NanoLaserPeel™ and the MicroLaserPeel®. A laser peel can safely and effectively address unwanted wrinkles and irregular pigmentation, especially around the mouth and eyes, revealing smoother and clearer looking skin.
Dr. Jennifer Harrington and her team at Harrington + Associates Plastic Surgery are highly experienced in creating optimal cosmetic results using surgical and nonsurgical procedures. Together, they’ve helped men and women from the Twin Cities area and throughout Minnesota achieve their aesthetic goals.
Who Is a Good Candidate for Micro/Nano Laser Peel?
Men and women of almost any age can be excellent candidates for laser peel. Some of the most common reasons to consider the Contour TRL laser peel include:
- Deep wrinkles (even in difficult to treat areas like around the mouth and eyes)
- Sun spots
- Actinic Keratoses
- Poor skin tone and texture
Your Contour TRL Laser Peel Treatment
The Contour TRL laser peel is designed to safely and effectively remove the damaged layers of skin as well as stimulate collagen production and cellular turnover. Depending on your specific skin concerns, the Contour TRL laser peel can be adjusted to varying depths. At your consultation, we will examine your skin, discuss your concerns and recommend the best laser peel treatment for your needs and to achieve optimal results.
Our highly-trained, certified providers position the laser peel handheld device directly above the skin and hold it in place while the computer-guided scanner directs the laser beam over the targeted area at a precise depth and temperature. A topical numbing cream will be applied beforehand to minimize any discomfort. Depending on the treatment area, most sessions typically last between 15 to 30 minutes.
The Contour TRL laser peel is not just for the face. Many men and women have seen great results when treating their neck, décolletage and hands. During your consultation, be sure to talk with us if there are other areas you would like to have treated.
Contour TRL Laser Peel Downtime
Following your laser peel treatment, you can expect to feel as though you’ve had a sunburn in the treated area with slight redness and sensitivity and possible swelling. Your recovery time and final results will depend on your specific concerns and the depth of treatment needed. It could take around 3 to 4 days to heal from shallow treatments and longer for more in-depth treatment. We will discuss what to expect during recovery at your consultation.
Although individual results vary, most patients see an improvement in their skin’s texture and tone in about a week. As you continue to experience cell regeneration, you could continue to see improvements over the next several weeks and months following your treatment. Most individuals see significant results after just a single Contour TRL laser peel due to its deep penetrating capabilities.
We recommend ALASTIN skincare pre- and post-procedure products to help support the healing and recovery process.
A major benefit of the Contour TRL laser peel is that it can be customized to fit your busy lifestyle. A series of lighter peels can help you achieve the same results as one deep penetrating laser peel without the extensive downtime.
The Contour TRL laser peel is designed to address deep wrinkles, scars, sun spots and poor skin tone and texture.
