Your O Spot Shot Treatment
Before injecting the PRP, the vagina and clitoris are numbed using a topical numbing cream. The shot is then administered in specific areas of the vagina and vulva, including the G spot. Most women report experiencing little to no discomfort during the PRP injections. The entire process usually takes around 30 minutes.
Depending on your concerns, Dr. Harrington may suggest alternate or additional treatments. For instance, Labiaplasty can resize overly large labia.

O Spot Shot FAQs
What is the O Spot Shot?
The O Spot Shot is a feminine rejuvenation treatment designed to improve women’s sexual experiences. The procedure uses PRP, or platelet rich plasma, to rejuvenate the vagina by stimulating increased blood flow and healthy new tissue growth. In addition to increasing vaginal sensitivity, the O Spot Shot may also help strengthen the vaginal muscles.
What is PRP?
Platelet rich plasma, or PRP, is a compound found in our blood that is rich in growth and healing factors. Procedures that use PRP require your blood to be drawn first, after which the PRP can be separated from the rest of your blood using a centrifuge. Your own growth factors can then be injected into specific areas or used as a topical serum, as in the PRP facial.
How does the O Spot Shot work?
The O Spot Shot works by injecting your PRP directly into specific areas of the vagina or vulva to stimulate new tissue growth and increase sensitivity. The PRP injections should help strengthen vaginal tissues and increase blood circulation, leading to a natural rejuvenating process. The most common treatment areas are the G spot and clitoris, though Dr. Harrington can customize your treatment for your specific needs.
Am I the right age for getting the O Spot Shot?
Because vaginal rejuvenation is such a personalized procedure, there is no “right age” for having the O Spot Shot. Many women experience new difficulties in sexual arousal and intimacy after major life events like childbirth or menopause, prompting them to seek out feminine rejuvenation. However, others experience difficulty achieving arousal, self-lubrication and sexual pleasure at a younger age. Dr. Harrington can help you better understand whether the O Spot Shot is right for you.
How long does the O Spot Shot take?
The O Spot Shot is a relatively quick treatment that can take as little as 30 minutes to complete, including your initial blood draw and the PRP injections.
How many O Spot Shot treatments are recommended?
The number of treatments recommended depends on your needs and how your body responds to the PRP injections. Many women are happy with their results after only a single O Spot Shot, but others get a second treatment to build upon their initial results.
Is there downtime after getting the O Spot Shot?
The O Spot Shot is a minimally invasive procedure that does not require any downtime. You can return to your normal schedule and resume sexual intercourse at any time after your appointment.
