Aging gracefully doesn’t have to mean settling for lines and wrinkles that make you unhappy. On the other hand, nobody wants to look fake or frozen. Thankfully, it doesn’t have to be one or the other. Dysport® is FDA-approved to help treat signs of aging without making you look expressionless or overdone.*
How Dysport Works
Dysport is formulated with botulinum toxin, which is also the key ingredient in BOTOX®. Like BOTOX, Dysport works to relax the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles—the lines and wrinkles that form over time as a result of repetitive movement. For example, years of raising your eyebrows eventually causes forehead lines. Dysport is frequently used to treat common signs of aging such as the “11” lines between the eyebrows and wrinkles at the edges of the eyes (crow’s feet).
Dysport can produce natural-looking results because it doesn’t limit movement in the untreated areas of the face.*
Choose Your Dysport Practitioner Carefully
While Dysport can be very effective, it must be administered by an experienced professional.* The biggest reason people end up with odd-looking outcomes after injectables is because they didn’t have them done by a qualified person. Look for someone who is experienced and comes highly recommended. It’s best to choose injectables from a reputable plastic surgery practice, if possible. A final word of advice: never, ever go to a Dysport or BOTOX party. Injectables might be hailed as lunchtime rejuvenation procedures but that doesn’t mean they don’t require talent and skill to administer properly.
