Not all chemical peel treatments are created equal. At the med spa at SpaVie, we offer only those aesthetic treatments that we have personally tested and that have been shown to deliver outstanding results. Many chemical peels don’t make the grade, but VI Peel delivers scientifically proven results in a medium depth peel formulation that can address a wide range of common skin concerns.
A VI Peel is the perfect add on to many of our other cosmetic skin treatments, including BOTOX Cosmetic, injectable fillers, or a HydraFacial. They can also be added to your surgical procedure.

Who Is a Good Candidate for a VI Peel?
Because there are many VI Peel formulations available, this treatment can address a wide range of skin concerns. VI Peel chemical peels are a safer alternative to mechanical or physical skin exfoliation, and they can target skin concerns such as poor texture, pigmentation, active acne and acne scarring, and more. We’ve found that there’s an excellent VI Peel treatment option for almost anyone, with noticeable results after a single treatment and exceptionally smoother and clearer skin after a series of treatments.

How the VI Peel Works
There are a few different VI Peel formulations, helping to address a range of skin concerns and conditions.
VI Peel Precision Plus
Target sun damage and melasma with this medium-depth powerhouse peel that promotes rapid cell turnover to achieve an even and glowing skin tone.
VI Peel Advanced
This peel is formulated to improve the appearance of aging skin, by softening wrinkles and fine lines while enhancing skin elasticity. The peel penetrates deeply, enhancing collagen stimulation to increase cell turnover and help firm the skin.
VI Peel Purify
Addressing the many triggers and symptoms of acne, this peel sweeps away skin cells known to clog pores, clears out oil and debris trapped deep within the pores, eliminates p. acnes bacteria and balances skin for fewer breakouts and a smoother texture.
VI Peel Body
This first-of-its-kind, non-invasive, and pain-free body peel stimulates anti-aging collagen to increase cellular turnover. Reveal smoother, more radiant skin in just one treatment. Safe for all skin types, tones, and textures – it’s a peel for every body.
Your Chemical Peel Treatment
VI Peel chemical peels are entirely non-invasive and are performed in our clinical office setting. To begin your appointment, your practitioner will review the treatment area and discuss the results you are looking to achieve. After that, we’ll recommend the peel formulation that best matches up with your goals.
To begin treatment, we’ll prep your skin in the treatment area and apply the chosen VI Peel formula in layers, allowing time for each layer to soak into the skin for maximum effectiveness. Treatment is completely painless and is completed in as little as 30 minutes.
VI Peel Recovery
There is no recovery period or downtime required after your treatment visit. We’ll pair your treatment with Alastin Skincare products and post-treatment instructions to maximize and maintain your results.
All VI Peels, like any chemical peel, will lead to skin peeling as dead and damaged skin layers are naturally removed to reveal clearer skin. The timing of this peeling will vary depending on the type of peel performed and your particular reaction. Typically, our patients have some flaking a few days after their treatment, with peeling lasting 3 to 7 days after the visit.
We find that a series of treatments often works best to achieve excellent results, followed by periodic maintenance treatments as needed to keep your skin looking smooth and radiant.
