Your Contour TRL Laser Peel Treatment
The Contour TRL laser peel is designed to safely and effectively remove the damaged layers of skin as well as stimulate collagen production and cellular turnover. Depending on your specific skin concerns, the Contour TRL laser peel can be adjusted to varying depths. At your consultation, we will examine your skin, discuss your concerns and recommend the best laser peel treatment for your needs and to achieve optimal results.
Our highly-trained, certified providers position the laser peel handheld device directly above the skin and hold it in place while the computer-guided scanner directs the laser beam over the targeted area at a precise depth and temperature. A topical numbing cream will be applied beforehand to minimize any discomfort. Depending on the treatment area, most sessions typically last between 15 to 30 minutes.
The Contour TRL laser peel is not just for the face. Many men and women have seen great results when treating their neck, décolletage and hands. During your consultation, be sure to talk with us if there are other areas you would like to have treated.
Contour TRL Laser Peel Downtime
Following your laser peel treatment, you can expect to feel as though you’ve had a sunburn in the treated area with slight redness and sensitivity and possible swelling. Your recovery time and final results will depend on your specific concerns and the depth of treatment needed. It could take around 3 to 4 days to heal from shallow treatments and longer for more in-depth treatment. We will discuss what to expect during recovery at your consultation.
Although individual results vary, most patients see an improvement in their skin’s texture and tone in about a week. As you continue to experience cell regeneration, you could continue to see improvements over the next several weeks and months following your treatment. Most individuals see significant results after just a single Contour TRL laser peel due to its deep penetrating capabilities.
