All of our nonsurgical treatments are overseen by Dr. Jennifer Harrington, a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 25 years of experience in the field. How HydraFacial Works
Every HydraFacial is customized to meet the needs of each person through one of these two types of HydraFacial treatments:
The Signature HydraFacial™
The Signature HydraFacial exfoliates, resurfaces and hydrates by using hyaluronic acid and Vortex –Fusing™ antioxidants while providing deep cleansing to the skin. We finish your treatment with nourishing, personalized products.
Deluxe HydraFacial™
The Deluxe HydraFacial incorporates the same elements as the Signature HydraFacial while also addressing concerns with a personalized booster of your choice. These boosters are potent formulas packed with active ingredients that target and treat specific concerns. This treatment concludes with LED Light Therapy to combat acne (blue light) and reduce wrinkles and increase collagen (red light).
Your HydraFacial Treatment
STEP ONE
A serum and light alpha hydroxy acid peel are applied to remove outer layers of damaged skin cells. This mild chemical exfoliation prepares your skin for deeper treatment without the irritation common with more intense peels.
STEP TWO
The HydraFacial treatment device is applied to the skin. This device in essence vacuums out impurities while simultaneously infusing the skin with a powerful moisturizer.
STEP THREE
A finishing serum containing a special blend of peptides and antioxidants is applied to protect and nourish the skin.
HydraFacial Recovery
In addition to the remarkable results possible with HydraFacial, another big benefit is that you won’t have the downtime associated with more invasive skin peels and many light-based skin rejuvenation treatments. You’ll be able to return to your normal activities and show off an improved skin tone as soon as you leave the office. To help get the most of your results, we’ll recommend at-home skincare products that complement the HydraFacial system and address your specific skin health concerns.
HydraFacial FAQs
The HydraFacial treatment can address skin concerns on the entire face. The treatment can be supplemented with “boosters,” or at-home products specifically designed to target a range of skin concerns such as lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, and discoloration.
It can be confusing trying to understand all the different skin rejuvenation treatments available today. We offer HydraFacial because its patented technology can reveal a noticeably improved complexion through a 3-step process that exfoliates your skin, extracts impurities, and provides deep hydration.
You should plan to be in our office for about an hour total, with treatment time lasting about 30 minutes.
HydraFacial is not an invasive treatment. You can rest comfortably while our staff administers each stage of the treatment and you should not experience any significant discomfort during or after your HydraFacial.
That depends on what you’re hoping to achieve and what degree of treatment you may need. For a quick refresh, a single HydraFacial treatment can provide an improved skin glow to last many weeks. Having a series of treatments can help to provide longer-term improved skin tone and correct ongoing skin damage.
