Across multiple studies, Sientra’s gummy bear breast implants have demonstrated a comprehensive degree of both safety and effectiveness.
The Online Annual Sientra Implant Study (O.A.S.I.S.) was designed to assess long-term outcomes of silicone gel breast implants. The study collected extensive health data from participants who had either round or teardrop-shaped gummy bear breast implants filled with a high-strength cohesive gel.
Sientra gummy bear implants offer women the advantage of maintaining their shape regardless of potential ruptures or other complications. These implants also offer a natural feel that mimics the texture of breast tissue. Sientra offers gummy bear implants in either round or anatomical form so women can select the implant that will work best with their natural anatomy.
The study included both breast augmentation and breast reconstruction patients who chose high-strength silicone gel implants. Dr. Harrington reimbursed her patients who completed surveys to assist in the collection of thorough and accurate data. Her patients are also required to revisit her yearly for up to 10 years to ensure that they continue to enjoy their results as well as optimal breast health.
