Each time you visit our office, you are greeted by Dr. Harrington and a certified plastic surgery nurse, who guide you along the entire journey, starting with the initial consultation and through the end of the recovery period. Here, you will never be treated by a staff member who doesn’t already know you.
Patient safety is our priority; this is why Dr. Harrington performs all surgical procedures at leading-edge, accredited medical facilities with a team of experienced medical doctors of anesthesia. Postoperative care is essential, and someone from our team of medical professionals is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have during recovery.
Dr. Harrington is board certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota and is the Director of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at North Memorial, level 1 trauma center.
Meet the Harrington Plastic Surgery Team
Kathy Matson
Executive Director
Kathy Matson is the Executive Director and Patient Coordinator for Harrington Plastic Surgery. Kathy has worked in plastic and reconstructive surgery since 1987. She is a member of the Plastic Surgery Administrative Association (PSAA).
Kathy combines her managerial skills and extensive knowledge of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures to successfully coordinate business operations and patient relations. Kathy ensures that Harrington Plastic Surgery runs effectively and efficiently. Kathy provides our patients with valuable information and emotional support.
Kathy assists Dr. Harrington in both the preoperative and postoperative phases of patient care. She helps educate patients and their families throughout the surgical and healing process.
Kim Starr
R.N. , C.P.S.N.
Kim Starr is a Registered Nurse who is also certified in plastic surgery nursing. Kim assists Dr. Harrington in both the clinic and operating room and plays an integral role on the team.
With experience in plastic surgery reaching back to 1986, Kim helps each patient understand that their questions and concerns are vital components in the journey toward wholeness. Her commitment to addressing the needs of patients, with the highest regard for the individual, is what makes her uniquely approachable. As you go through your surgical experience with us, Kim will be there to work closely with you, before and after your procedure, to answer any questions regarding your surgery and before and after care. Kim’s knowledge of plastic and reconstructive procedures makes her a very valuable source of information for our patients.
Kathy and Kim are the primary liaisons between our patients and Dr. Harrington. It is their goal that each person is treated with respect and the utmost highest regard.
